| | | Kenneth Dunning 82, of Spencer passed away Saturday, January 28th, at The Residence at McCornick’s Creek.
Kenneth was born October 21, 1923 in Monroe County to Otis and Beulah (Baugh) Dunning.
He was a veteran of the U S Navy and a member of the Spencer Christian Church. Kenneth was inducted into the Indiana Polled Hereford Hall of fame in 1996.
Survivors are his wife Ruth (Walden) Dunning, son and daughter-in-law John and Cathy Dunning, and daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Mike Frye of Spencer, brother
Kextel Dunning of Gosport, sisters Vi Eva Thrasher and Lois Magner of Bloomington, Lola Hoskins of Greenwood. Five grandchildren, Michelle O’Toole, Melanie Frye, Kristi May, John Dunning, Jr., Lee Ann Dunning and three great grandchildren, Max O’Toole, Trent May, and Kayla May.
Funeral services will be Tuesday January 31, 11:00 AM at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Wilson officiating.Burial will be in Gosport Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and Tuesday 8:30 until service time. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Spencer American Legion and VFW.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer Christian Church.
