| | | Aral Jean Brown 80 of Spencer passed away Saturday January 28th at The Residence at McCormick’s Creek. She was born December 12, 1925 in Owen County to Joel Kenneth and Elizabeth (Coble) Minnick.
Jean was a homemaker and had been a supervisor at IMU. She attended Living Waters Church and a member of the red hat society.
She is survived by her children Mark and his wife Carole Brown of Bloomfield, Cindy and husband Terry Caldwell of Lakeland, Florida and Cherie and her husband Jeff Olsson of Bloomington. Sisters and brothers are Barbara Taylor, Doris Rubeck Janet Barker Wayne Minnick, David Minnick, Max Minnick all of Gosport, Joe Minnick of Wabash, Jim Minnick of Illinois, and Gary Minnick of Tucson, Az. She has nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Arvin B. Brown, her parents, one son Michael and two brothers Marvin”Pete”, and Kenneth Minnick.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 3rd 11:00AM at Hudson Hill Cemetery where the family will receive friends from 10:00.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Residence at McCormick’s Creek.
