| | | Ermel F. Clark 81 of Houston, TX formerly of Indianapolis, Spencer and Ellettsville, died March 31, 2006 in Houston, TX at HCR Manor Care. He was born April 5, 1924 in Sullivan, IN to Ruby (Stewart) and Victor Clark. He graduated from Stinesville High School, served in the Army during WWII and retired as a postal carrier in Bloomington. He was a lifetime member of the Spencer VFW and Spencer American Legion, and a member of the 40/8 club.
His daughter Millie Surber of Houston, TX, one brother Bobby Clark of Stinesville, one sister Donna Page of Spencer, a stepson, Rick Miller of Indianapolis, a stepdaughter Sandy Rowlett of Indianapolis and five grandchildren, survives him. He was proceeded in death by his wives Donna Mae (Ratliff) Clark and Thelma Maxine Clark, son Walter Franklin “Lucky” Clark, sister Della Harris Visitation will be Wednesday April 5, 2006, 3-7pm at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer, IN. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 11:00 A.M.at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Hollie officiating. The Spencer Legion and Spencer VFW will conduct military graveside services at Chambersville Cemetery.
