Billy Joe Farley 58 of Spencer passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Bloomington Hospital.

Billy Joe was born April 2, 1948 in Bloomington to Ed and Virginia (Freeman) Farley-Combs. He was an equipment operator for the Rail Road, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member or the American Legion, and the Gosport VFW. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, and a graduate of Spencer High School class of 1966.

Billy is survived by his mother Virginia Farley-Combs of Ellettsville, sons Ethan Farley of Spencer, Nathan Farley and Carl Duncan Farley, daughters Jessica Farley of Chesapeake, Virginia and Michelle Farley and brother James Farley of Bloomington, and his companion Kay Pendleton. He is preceded in death by his father Ed. Farley.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2006, 11:0O AM at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday 8:30 until service time.
