| | | William Roger Chambers 62, of Indianapolis died Thursday, June 8, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born October 11, 1943 in Linton to Charles and Ernestine (Stahl) Chambers. Roger was a graduate of Spencer High School in 1962,
served in the Indiana National Guard, was a member of Abate Region 11, and UAW #431.He retired from Allison in 2001. He is survived by a son, William R. (Michelle) Chambers, Jr., of Indianapolis, two daughters, Leslie (Michael) Miers of Indianapolis and Heather (Rafe) Thummel of Ellettsville, a sister Barbara (Rusty) Terrell of Spencer and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 12, 2006 with Bro. Gary Fiscus officiating at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
