| | | Lolita J. Bixler 78 of Spencer passed away Friday July 14, 2006 at Owen Valley Health Campus.
Lolita was born October 4, 1927 in Spencer to Fred Thacker and Bertha (Wall) Thacker Stamm.
She had worked at RCA and retired from Area 10 Agency. She was a member of the Church of God on West Highway 46 in Spencer.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cathy Alden of Spencer, and Pixie and Manuel Creech of Poland two brothers Charles Thacker of Lafayette, Ellis "Pinky" Thacker of Spencer, one sister Joan Walden of Spencer, three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert I. Bixler, and sister Fredericka Crowe.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God on West Highway 46 with Reverend Michael Lucas officiating. Visitation will be Monday July 17, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Chambersville Cemetery.
