| | | Maurine Garrett 79, of Spencer passed away Saturday July 29, 2006 at the Bloomington Hospital. Maurine was born January 29, 1927 in Livingston, Tennessee to William and Mary Lou (Speck) Cantrell.
Maurine retired from RCA and was a homemaker.
Maurine is survived by four sons Thomas Garrett, Cecil Garrett, Richard Garrett, of Spencer and William G. Garrett of Bloomington. Three daughters Linda Sims of Freedom, Calla Abrell, Wilma Knapp of Spencer, eleven grandchildren, and twenty six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday August 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Mt Olivet Church at the Chambersville Cemetery with Mike Galimore officiating burial will be in the Chambersvile Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home from4:00 PM until8:00 PM and Wednesday at the church from 9:00 AM until service time.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Garrett in 1997, two brothers and three sisters.
