Stanley Christie 60, of Spencer passed away Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the Bloomington Hospital. Stan was born October 8, 1946 in Bloomington to Floyd D. and Ethel G. (Miller) Christie. He retired as project manager for Siemens Building Technologies Inc. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, World Outreach Church, Sons of the American Legion, Men’s Auxiliary of the V. F. W., and IBEW Local 725. Stan is survived by his wife Ginger (Kisters) Christie, sons J. Todd Christie and his wife Debbie of Gosport, Ben Christie of Indianapolis, daughters Georgana Turner and her husband Jeff of Moyock, North Carolina, Tina Havranek of Ellettsville, sister Connie Adams of Ellettsville, three grandchildren Nicole Havranek, Brandon Christie and Carmen Christie. One niece Teresa (Adams) Lynch, and one nephew Scott Adams.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home with Pastor Robert A. Murphy officiating, burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 4:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday 8:30 A.M. until service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
