| | | Imogene Louise Abbitt, 77 of Spencer passed away at the Richard Bean Blossom Health Care Center in Ellettsville, Friday, March 23, 2007. She was born in Owen County October 16, 1929 to Guy and Mabel (Porter) Arthur. She retired in 1992 from RCA in Bloomington. Mrs. Abbitt was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years William Howard Abbitt, daughters Pamela J. Fender (Larry) of Indianapolis, Lesa G. Gabbard (Kevin) of Ellettsville, Billie S. Jones (Bob) of Ellettsville, brother Donald Arthur of Stinesville sister Joan Clark of Spencer and eight grandchildren, Eric Fender, Brandon Fender (Melody), Justin Gabbard, Zack Gabbard, Corey Gabbard, Brody Gabbard, Mollie Jones and Gracie Jones.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Bro. Cletis Ellett will officiate. Burial will follow at Methodist Cemetery in Ellettsville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2007 4-8 PM.
