| | | H. Viola Branum 94 of Spencer passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Owen Valley Health Campus. She was born in Knox County, Kentucky to Layton and Jessie Lickliter.
Mrs. Branum was a dispatcher for Area 10 in Spencer for ten years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Spencer Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters Lora Deiwert of Sarasota, FL, Effie Johnson of Gosport, a son Edward M. Branum of Bedford, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Branum was preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Branum, two sons J.L. Branum and Thomas L. Branum, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 12:00 P.M. at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor Alan Farmer will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 2:45 P.M. at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN. Visitation will be Saturday 10 A.M. until time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cuba Baptist Church c/o the funeral home.
