Frank Ferguson, Jr., 80, of Solsberry, passed away April 24, 2009 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 16, 1928 in Indianapolis to Allie Jane (Hill) and Frank Ferguson, Sr. He had been a carpenter in the Indianapolis area. Frank was a former member of the Bloomington American Legion.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by four sons; Roy Ferguson, Clayton Ferguson, Jack Ferguson and Robert Ferguson all of Solsberry, three daughters; Lucky Cruzan and Karen Heymig both of Indianapolis, and Alice McDougalle of Franklin, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, two brothers; Jim Ferguson of Franklin and Alvin Ferguson of Indianapolis, and sister Sarah Ferguson of Indianapolis.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rachel Wash.
Graveside services will be 1pm, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Combs cemetery in Owen County. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
