Jackson Loudermilk, 60, of Spencer, passed away at Bloomington Hospital, Thursday, May 21, 2009. He was born October 23, 1948 in Spencer, IN to Roy and Ruth (Edwards) Loudermilk. Jack worked as a police officer and served as the Chief of Police. He was a member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church, FOP, Chiefs of Police Association, and Civil War Re-enactors. He also enjoyed volunteering with Wildlife Rehabilitation.

Mr. Loudermilk is survived by his wife Barbara (Perrine) Loudermilk, a son Steven Senior Jr. of Spencer, a daughter Tamra (Rob) Ranard of Spencer, two brothers Ray (Lydia) Helms of McCordsville, IN, Chuck (Brenda) Gremore of Fairland, IN, five sisters Shari Heinzmann of Seattle, WA, Dorothy Somerville of Indianapolis, Marty (Roger) Hamilton of Greenwood, IN, Donna (Bob)Mens of Sylvania, OH, and Sharpy (Derek) Romeril of Greenfield, IN, and three grandchildren Torrey Wallace, Huntyr Morron, and Taylar Ranard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Dale Barnes and Bob Gremore.

Services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor Joel Laswell will officiate. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 PM Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home on behalf of the family.
