I'm sending you a rough draft of Mom's obituary as follows:Eva L. Parker 91,resident at Redbud in Bloomington died Monday July 20th 2009 at Meadowood Health Pavillian. Born Oct, 30th,1917 in Owen County. She was the daughter of George and Emma (Wiese) Coleman.She was a life long member of the Spencer United Methodist Church. During the 1960's she ran the concession stand at Mc Cormick's Creek State Park and served as vice chair lady of the Owen County Democrat Party. Later, she worked at Midland Printing Press untill it's closing.Surviors include:one sister Christine Hartzell of Anderson; one son Charles Parker of Cloverdale;one daughter Rosemary Head of Springville;five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in dealth on Nov.26th 1994 by her husband C. Harold Parker;four brothers Newton Coleman, Clifford Coleman, Garland Coleman,Guy Coleman, five sisters; Gertrude Schneider,Margaret Marshall, Garnet Staudt,Mary Matthews and Mildred Long. Friends and family may call on Sat.July 25th at 11-3p.m. untill services at 3:00 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.
