Kean, 76, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Owen Valley Health Care. He was born June 23, 1933 in Greencastle, IN to Albert Eugene Houston Delano and Emily Kean. John served as a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked most of his life as a mechanic for farm equipment. He was a member of McCormick’s Creek Pentecostal church. John is survived by his five sons, Rick Franklin of Bowling Green, Russell (Brenda) Kean of Houston, TX, Rex (Deborah) Kean of Canada, Roger (Johnnette) Kean of Houston, TX, Ryan (Denise) Kean of Gosport, a brother Forest Kean of Cloverdale, a sister Myrtle Cooksey of Carbon, ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife Chloie (Franklin) Kean, his parents, and a son, Scott Kean and eleven brothers and sisters. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being provided by West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home of Spencer.
