Nadine F. Baker, 86, of Linton, formerly of Gosport, passed away at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN, Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was born April 23, 1923 in Worthington to E. Byrd and Hazel J. (Davis) Faulk. Nadine worked for RCA, was a member of the Pentecostal faith, and was a member of the Eastern Star. She and her husband Ralph served as foster parents and she enjoyed quilting.
Nadine is survived by two sons, Robert Baker of Worthington and Gary Baker of Freeman, three brothers Harry Faulk of Paris, IL, Robert Faulk of Lima, OH, and Claude Faulk of Indianapolis, 3 sisters Maxine Gabbard of Lyons, Martha Floyd, and Naomi Light of Southport, five grandchildren, several great and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Ralph Gillespie and Otto Baker, her parents, and five sisters.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, November 7, 2009 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor David Dyer will officiate. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11am to 1pm on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Diabetes Foundation.
