Mrs. Abney is survived by her husband, Donald West o Kirkwood, NY, a son Donald West Jr., of Whitney Point, NY, two daughters Connie West of Endicott, NY and Susan West, a grandson Tylor of Chenango, NY, two brothers Charles and Merton Caskey, and a sister Helen. She is preceded in death by her first husband William L. Freeman, a son William L. Freeman Jr., her parents, three sisters, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Jay and Verna Freeman. Graveside service will be held 1pm Monday, November 9, 2009 at Gross Cemetery. Elder Tommie Freeman will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1pm at the cemetery.
