Theodore “Ted” McKibben of Indianapolis, IN, died May 4, 2008 at Batesville Healthcare in Batesville, Arkansas . Born in Topeka, KS on January 21, 1945 he was the son of Ted Hall and Amy McKibben. He was a musician for many years playing with artists such as : The Grand Ole Opry House Band, Keith Whitley, Eddie Rabbit and Waylon Jennings to name a few, he was a master electrician for National Construction Workers (NCW) in Indianapolis, IN., and drove for the Hoosiers Outlaw Series 410 Winsed pavement, sprint car #38, where he placed 13th in the 2007 points standing. He was a member of Eagle Dale Baptist Church of Indianapolis, IN. Survivors include one son, Rick McKibben of Pleasant Plains,AR, two daughters, Rhonda Graham of Batesville, AR and Amy McKibben of Cincinnati, OH. Seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter and his dog Cody. He is preceded in death by his fiancé Debra (Pye) Pate of Moorehead, MS. And his parents. A graveside memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Alderbrook Cemetery in Desha, AR. with Bro. Kenneth Altom &Billy Wayne Scroggins officiating.
