| | | Naomi Terry, age 89, of Newport formerly of Cushman, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in a Newport hospital. She was born May 29, 1923 in Stone County, the daughter of Haywood Burns and Bertha Jones Burns. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. She was a member of the Deliverance Tabernacle Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Willis Terry; and a daughter, Lily Newman.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Medlock of Judsonia, Willis Terry of Judsonia; two daughters, Janet Moser of Cushman, Jeanette Ring of Batesville; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be immediately following the service at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.
