Lella Virgie Pierce, age 84, of Batesville died Monday, July 2, 2012 in a local hospital. She was born February 13, 1928 in Arkansas. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Lella is preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Pamela Pierce. Survivors include a son, Lloyd Pierce of Batesville; 2 daughters, Arlene Boyd of California, Cynthia Pierce of Batesville; and 3 grandchildren. No services will be held.
