| | | Gerald Wayne Floyd, age 74, of Batesville, died Monday, July 16, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born March 30, 1938 in McHue, AR, the son of Norman Floyd and Ora Mae Edwards Floyd. Gerald was of the Baptist faith and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gene Floyd.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Floyd of the home; a son, Gary Floyd of North Little Rock; 3 brothers, Bernes Floyd of Batesville, R.B. Floyd of Batesville, Ray Floyd of Batesville; and a sister, Brenda Wrackley of Pleasant Plains.
Services are set for 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Church of Nazarene on Harrison St. Burial will immediately follow the service at Kyler Cemetery.
